Keys will be fine, it's either decoder ring that's gone (plastic ring around the barrel), or the uch has lost the key information. If it's recoding needed, Renault clip required.

I would assume it's because moisture gets into it.

Cool. Airbags can be turned off yes. In theory the computer can be removed, then disconnect the wires which go into the uch and that may cure it. Id be suprised if that would work though. Impedance usually causes faults on the airbag system. Otherwise if your dash is out remove the bulb ;)

if you are planning on modding more, get everything done you want, then map it. decat doesn't make much difference really (less restiction, so maybe a few bhp), and it will be much more noisy.

sounds like it yeah. I can't see why it would be causing issues though as you won't have changed any settings, and a router is a router. As long as the wireless card can see it then it should connect. Password correct ;)

;) If you look normally there are two seperate plates on the standard car. By having them fixed together in theory there is less movement etc.

can you ping it? Could just be TCP settings. Is you computer allocated IP or on static?

Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118 change in air speed/density due to length? I've read that the DTH bodies require smaller trumpets compared to Jenvey, but they are different setups. Not sure of the logic behind it though.

how on earth did you find that page :S Random stuff on there. Presumably it's chinese, but loads of renault stuff on there. Don't think you tend to find renaults out in the far east. Bonnet looks gash though ;) I presume i'm looking at a splitter/undertray?

Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118 would that be the case with all cams on the RS2 then? I don't know enough to comment fully, but why would the durations on the cams potentially lower the effects of the RS2? Surely when mapped to suit they would run well? Good decision...

Granted 1.3 was epic, but source wasn't that bad. It never ran as well, but at least the maps remained. It started getting a bit rubbish with some of the new maps. AWP ftw :D

did you lube the bore up prior to removing it? hopefully there wont be much moisture in there. stick with it mate. Ignore Dave, he's obviously in denial ;)
