    Coilovers vs 182 suspension

Twitchy rear end, more body roll, but not uncontrollable.:) Wish I could fit my coilovers to this car!

    Interesting! :S

I dont think its that bad. Guy probably had to respray most of the car, so sprayed the damaged bits orange. I think it takes a bit of ingenuity to do that. Speaker and sub install could have been tidier though.

    Engine Management Light

It will come and go, dont worry about it. Stick your normal cat back on and when it goes out it will not come on again unless something is wrong.:)

Anyone know where I can get my Clio 182 wired for a sub with standard head unit?

I did it by using an amp with high level input and using the rear speaker as the input to the amp. Worked very well.

    ummmm, Piper/GDi exhaust scam?

FFS!!!! When making some sort of defamatory comments about a business I would post the facts, not just assume that we know what you are talking about.

    Pretty shocked

Just part exed my 53 plate silver 172 for 5500, it was on 55k miles. These cars are selling private for around 6000. I wanted 6500, but bit the bullet and got rid before I had to spend money on cambelt and repairs. So your offer does seem a little low, maybe an extra 700 would be about right.

to be honest, its quick enough at the moment.lol. But the guys at ktec said it feels as if the boost has been set quite low. Not that I can complain, as it should mean more reliable engine. I think I'll just get a cheap gauge for now. Got a few spare pennies in paypal account.

    FAO turbo geeks

I think internals have been upgraded, need to ring up and check. But thought I may as well get a boost controller with guage to cut down on costs?

182 rear brake pads - how much to have replaced?

tonnes! Just buy the pads yourself and get a local garage to replace the pads. Around £20 or less for pads, and £20 for fitting.:)

    £1000 to spend

Brakes are a must! Just spent £250 on some ferodo ds2500 and brembo max discs. They are only 30 miles old and they bite hard!
