I can't speak for your 1.2 but i've just fitted mine to my 182 with the standard exhaust on.Improved the sound 10 fold and most definately revs more freely after 4500RPM. Obviously an aftermarket exhaust will improve it even more but i'd say put it on now as you said you might be a while saving...
Ohhhh who's a lucky boy?lol. Let me know what you think of the coili's,i've been offered them brand new from a dealer for 750 pound which is pretty good although 6-8 weeks delivery.
Look forward to seeing the results.

I've always thought rally drivers are the most talented of all professional race drivers. How they can carry so much speed into corners is just pure balls of steel especially down such narrow roads,i think if i was a passenger i'd actually shut my eyes, lol:o .
That was mega...good vid.

HI Guys,
Yaser and I fitted my GDI decat last night and i just have a few questions.
I've heard a few people say it might run lean? How will i notice this? Will i be able to smell fuel or something?
I'm getting my car serviced next week, will the decat be a problem or not?
It took us a little...
Hi Guys,
I'm getting my decat from GDI in the next couple of days and i just have a few questions.
Is there any special fitting requirements i need to be aware of as the mechanics here aren't the sharpest knives in the draw. Is it just a case of unbolting 4 bolts and putting the decat in??
Also...
The heat is a killer thats why my vid is at night time when its around 19-20 degress, although come summer its worse in the evening with the humidity.

Cheeky!;)
Yeah the W800 isn't the best for recording vids but it will do for now. Gonna do a few 0-60 runs tomorrow aswell and i'll put them on here, engine is still getting looser though as i've only covered 5500 miles or so.

Hi Guys,
Thought i'd do a quick run from 40mph to 90mph or as shown on my dials as 62kmph to 144 kmph.
Does it look about right? Compared to Ben p's 172 it looks way slow..any opinions welcome...sorry about the quality,i used my W800i wedged inbetween the wheel.
john...
Erm not quite sure how to answer. I've had my 182 5 weeks aswell now and also have an ITG panel. No major differences but they are the best panel filter around IMHO,shouldn't in anyway decrease performance over standard paper filter.

I dont know boys and their toys!!!!;)
Sounds like a good old fashioned drag race is needed! As i've never been to the strip do you guys place side wagers at all or is it purely just fun? If your gonna spend so much $$$ i reckon it would be nice to get some side action...

Whats wrong with FOX alloys? I've had a good few friends who have had them and not had any problems...anything i should be made aware of as to why they suck so much?
John
Great idea mate,i'm sure it will attract some attention. And thanks for the install guide you gave me a while back. Just waiting on the parts to come.
Looking forward to seeing this complete.

I wouldn't of thought they are the best you can buy as hayward and scott offer some pretty good quality stuff along with prospeed. They are pretty good value though at 250 direct from blueflame.I'm sure you'll find others on here with some good advice.

This is has been covered a few times but take a look at www.greydevilindustries.com and yozzasport.co.uk along with k-tec although they are a little overpriced IMHO. BB tuning have some good gear aswell.
All depends really how much you've got to spend..

It is growing on me but as i've only just bought my new 182 i'll be hanging on to that for a good couple of years yet but if i was tempted by the new RS 197 i'd wait until the cup version came out. Be interesting to see what people pay for the first few months on the new RS 197. Anyone on here...
I think ET 37 is still ok for the 182 but ET 45 is preferable. There are definately people with 182's running that offset with no problems on here from what i gather.
