I'd clay before the polish, you should be able to get both for not much more than £20.
Meg's Quik Clay for the clay and probably the Autoglym Super Resin Polish followed by Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection.
If your after swirl removal the best bet probably is Meg's ScratchX.
I think the reason Rich says to use the QD is because it's quicker (there shouldn't be much on from the wash yesterday) than the full wash but if you've run out of QD then just wash.
These are plusher than those ones, there isn't much to those at all.
I've got quite a few of these (green) and they are great for those jobs that you don't want the best ones for and are brilliant value.
Black wheels on your car look really nice but anything else like the carbon bonnet I don't really think looks all that.

Quick question, seen this on offer at Aldi for a tenner, will it work with the Canon 350D as I'm looking at getting one of these cameras and for that price can't go wrong if it fits?
