Very true. Nearly put my back out when I was fitting them. lol
Personally I want the extra power for day to day and track work, and don't want the car to be so load that i've got to carry ear plugs around like a certain Admin used to ;) If it was a dedicated track car I'd have stripped it ages...
I toyed around with this, but want the car to be ok to drive normally. Stripped is a bit too much for road use imo. That's why i've gone for power modding and leaving it standard internally.
I was considering it mate, but I spoke to Matt about them and he's struggling to find blanks to use. Aparently rsport do them, but he doesn't think they would be keen on putting them in road cars. I wanted the car up and running as it's nearly a year now since it's done much. Should be booking...
easier probably isn't the best way to describe it then. Better setup to the conditions really. Plus on a track road tryes are gash. Drove the 200 cup round oulton and it wasn't as grippy as I expected.
Fred likes the a bit more of an oversteer setup. I run 26psi front and rear on mine when cold.

Re: "Mechanically Inept" Dave.'s TDF'd ITB & Cammed 182
what coilies are you getting mate? Did you manage to get the H&R's or have you decided to splash out?
LOL
Toyos in the wet mate tbh. They're just as good as PE2's unless it's running a river on track. End of the pit straight at Oulton does this :S Scary!
Go for either KW or AST if you want well made stuff. Out of the box, like Dan mentioned, KW are supposed to be better than AST, but if...
Not my cup of tea mate. Body kits are for teenage chavs really, but glad you like it ;). I would say It should be quick, but with that much weight it probably feels as fast as it did out the factory. Keep up the good work though :D
Thirsty bugger hey ;) I better start saving for fuel too. Usually do about 10-15 laps at a time on trackdays, with about half hour in between, so based on that i'm looking at nearly 4 tanks for the day including travel. I hope the noise is worth it :D
