The tool locks both inlet/exhaust pulley's in place. The horse shoe locking tool alone isn't sufficient. You need the pulley tool to undo the pulleys. those bolts are tight Pic of it here...

hi mate, VVt kicks in at around 1.5k fyi. remove the cam seals and see if the timing is still within, otherwise it could be electrical related (diagnostics would be a good route).

Some of those might not be faults mate. I'd get it put on a decent diagnostic machine to pin point the issue.

You never mentioned that mate. So you've bought a second hand door lock and key from cliospare? Did you get a second hand uch and ecu with that too?

sounds like lambda, does the car run ok? could be wiring.
