not getting full cut with P1

I genuinely think that 182 paint is quite hard. I ran power gloss with a CG cutting pad on my rotary on the weekend, and it barely touched it :S. I've done ford paint with my DA and that nearly went straight through. How fast are you doing your passes? generally speaking an inch a second is a...

My spa and nurburgring trip (beware huge thread)

nice pics mate. Jealous!! Suprised you didn't crash the site with all those pics. ;)

should I be worried about this?

there would be some play in it yes, but there usually is a little regardless. where are you? pop to a specialist if you're not sure on checking the timing. It's simple to check, but not advisable if you're not sure what to do.

    what discs and pads??

search function is your friend mate. :slap:

should I be worried about this?

it does look a little suspect mate. Only way to check is to remove the bungs at the other end of the head (you'll need replacements though). Dephaser noise would be obvious with the cover removed, and no play in the dephaser is fine iirc.

    Race battery / Trickle charger...

Been having issues with mine too. Odyssey loses power when off the car. Strange! Ctek are a must with these batteries for me

    Fuel rail / injector cover

Yeah it's sole purpose was to protect the rail. Don't remove the bolts though as like you say they hold on the lower inlet manifold ;)

    Fuel rail / injector cover

not had mine on for ages. Excess weight, and lets be honest, if you crash it's going to be a right off anyway ;)

2.0 Turbo engine in the Clio 172

those are the only two engine conversion I know of. So i'd imagine that's about as easy as it will get. Why do you think it will be cheaper? If you do the work yourself a turbo setup can be done for less than 3k and that's with standalone. Engine/GB cost won't be cheap unless you're lucky with a...

Making my RS200 + cup a trackday car

if you're getting warped discs then you need to learn a bit more about brake management mate. You shouldn't have an issue really. Saying that, it might not be warped discs? it could be the pads letting go when they get too warm? I get this issues with my ds2500s after about 5-10 hard laps. No...

2.0 Turbo engine in the Clio 172

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?545370-Clio-172-Ph1-Megane-225-Hybrid Have a read mate. megane engine can be done, also audi TT engine, but they will require mounts being made to fit. It may be cheaper to just turbo a clio by the time you buy a fresh engine.

    Brake dust

Did the whole car today. Only issue i've found with it is that you need a few applications with some of the specks. I ended up using the whole bottle on the car. I ran out before I could go round and recoat some of them. Looks miles better though and the floor was nice and purple afterwards...

    Russ_16v's ITB'd & Caged 182 Track Car (Was Crispy's)

Standard looms don't like being disturbed full stop. These looms are made and stretched leaving weak points all over. Could be anything. Aside from checking everything for conformance, starting from scratch or talking to matt is your best bet. If you can change your setup to run solely on omex...
