my abs light was on for roughly 9months, didnt affect my breaking atall luckily. but it was the ABS sensor which i though it was as i kinda tried to remove it when gettin the hub off ..
try and get a mate that works in a garage if you can to hook it up and find which side it is, will be...
i wouldnt reccomend the Studs from previous experience tho, they f*kd up 2 of my hubs, which i had to get 2 new flanj's costin £200iirc..
i have pics if you want to see what happend to the studs..
well the Adjuster works so i can have them up and down, but just the fact the light bounces in the headlight would mean a failed mot session.
but i just dont want to put it through and fail on the lights if it does, £50 down the drain then, so just for my peace il swap them round :)
Iv been told by a mate that a HID Kit will fail a MOT.. is that correct ?
as the mechanic who did a Pre Mot said nothing about them tbh, so if their going to fail il remove them and fit original bulbs back before tuesday
anyone expericene any problems during MOT with them on ??
Ta
James
was suprised to see 1 tbh, noticed the tow ring then i click & mate spotted the CS sticker
Reg was EN05 UMT.
i was the 1 in the vectra (passenger) that let you out in tesco, .in Bangor (n.wales)
btw love the seats, they the 197 ye ?
£55 ffs robbin cnuts ..
had mine for £30ish quid on Ebay a while ago brand new :) & ye it doesnt fit properly on a sport bumper for some reason, tried everything but just cuts my fingers ffs
anyone tried them before ??
just seen the advert for them and had a look on ebay, for 10 tablets its £3.79 .. now the word Cheap comes to minde here tbh, i have the Megs Gold Class shampoo and that just damages my skin for some reason...
Looks very tidy fella,
do the lowering yourself, the rear is much easier than the front tbh, get a mate round who probably knows what he is doing to lend you a hand, theres a guide on here if you get stuck, but its preety much simple to do...
Dont even buy them.. iv had them before and their ABSOLUTE shait, i think i have the studs & bolts in the shed all damaged, & to make the matter worse costed me £200 extra to fix the damage they did
did you change the pads and whilst the front end was off the ground tried to see if it was breaking properly? if so 1 side will not spin until its on the floor and your moving,
Hubcentric spacers rest on the hub itself making it less chance of a Wheel wobble at higher speed, it its worth getting them tbh for your own safety, also extended wheel bolts are reccomended :)
£200, were you lookin at fella ? try ebay etc
^ front only go down to about 90mm iirc, but the rear says can only handle 60mm, but mine has take twice of that with my custom springs, takin it about 120mm+ set on hard ovcourse to take the bends like a "go kart"
I have Spax on my 1.2 16v, payed around the same iirc,
No problem what so ever and my car is lowered to the max in the front and rear, handles great with the adjustable dampers set to hard..
^ but JME do you want your rear shocks poppin out ;)
take the lights off on the back and look on the connection were the plug connect to the light, if theres rust, clean it, that should sort the problem :)
Happend to me, things went more hecting on mine tho indicators came on when brakes pressed, revers coming on when driving ffs was mental...
