if you want a very good 4 pot kit, at a decent price, i suggest you wait a few weeks for our 4 pot set-up.
Its being exclusivly made for us by compbrake (www.compbrake.co.uk). It will run a 295mm disc, that can fit behind a 15 inch wheel (depending on alloy design), 2 peice disc, aircraft...
fubar - ideally i want a full carbon bonnet, or a carbot skin, with fibre glass subframe. No metal, so as light as possible.
As for the roof and boot, yes its just a skin, but wouldnt weigh much, but more improtantly would look PIMP!
have heard some very good things abouth the KMS ecu, QEP are doing them also.
They have a self mapping facility when using a wide badn lambder sensor.
I woudl certanly try one, and its certanly cheaper than many other current market options.
cliobuyer - just to add to what joe has said, yes we did research, otherwise we wouldnt of pumped nearly 2k into the development of this exhaust.
as said, we know not everyone has that sort of money to spend on an exhaust, but the few (which seem to be growing day by day) that want the best...
no point in revving more than a few hundred rpm over the point at where power tails off.
in my old saxo track car (t/b's, omex, blah blah blah..) it revved to 7800, it stopped making power at 7250 (mild cams), was was pretty pointless.
only advantage is it gives you a little more room to...

ben - our thinking exactly, we couldnt justify it either. The car goes back to BTB for them to make the necessary adjustments to the system and the jig at the end of the month/early next month.
mja182 - no worries, we want to work closely with people, so we can offer them the very best, and...
no point in having a car remapped as a first modification, or if you plan to change things in the near future.
if you want more power, do the basics first, like a decent exhasut (see engine section, BTB exhausts post) panel filter etc.
then when your at a decent point get the ECU remapped...

Hence why we dont want to use it in the system. And it also makes alot of sense to leave it out, with reference to the CAT, MOT time etc.
