FREE fitting!
PM if you are interested.
surely the Quaife one only broke because it was designed to take around standardish (plus a bit) 182 power.
not the 260 odd plus all the torque that ktec launched through it??
check here for decent info and pricing on various different diffs....

never broken a gear box, not on my old track day Saxo VTS, or the 182, which has seen some abuse (18k, 2 trips to 'ring, numerous track days).
cant help but think some people dont have any mechanical sympothy for parts!
possibly worth a check of your driving style?
how about some shed motorsport compbrake 4 pots? far superior to any uprated discs and pads.
more expensive yes, but far far better!
we will fit them for free too! :D
which dyno cell do you regularly use fred?
not sure where my nearest one is.
Standard 182 cat is pretty free flowing as standard. De-Cat wise.....
Another reason to fit the BTB unit is a bit more technical, most people want to take the CAT off as they sap so much power, the problem is...
wide - i paid 105 a corner from demon tweeks. i cannot compare them to any other semi slicks (road legal) as i have not tried them.
compared to any tyre i have used before, they are far more grippy.
check video of me using them at the 'ring...
i did miss it for a while, but i enjoy the clio so much, and its a quicker car! oh and being safe in the knowledge that the 182 is gonna be a serious bit of kit once i finish with it (but my lips are sealed!) :D :D :D
we did look into it briefly, but like the 182 we would need a car for around 2 weeks (anyone want to donate a car :D), and the inital development system would cost in the region of 1400 pounds (the 182 system has cost us nigh on 2k to get to a final stage).
If there is enough demand for one...
benR - do have graphs, but they are not scanned in, will get them from joe and see what we can do!
maddog - car is at BTB as we speak, having final adjustments made, once thats done we will be commissioning 10 systems to be made. This will probably take 3-4 weeks, depending on how busy BTB...
excellent stuff. good read.
the more i hear about the megane 225's the more i am interested in them. especially as they seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper. Plus i cant rememebr the last time i saw ione on the road, so pretty exclusive!
looks like maddog is on the ball! cheers mate!
yup BTB is 595.00, and had good gains across the entire rev range, both bhp and torque.
systems are being produced at moment, with a few people already paid a deposit (the sensible among us!)
vid is here...
when was the last time a rover was ever in a 'hot-hatch' shoot out?
bunch of idiots!! a guess a rover is the choice of car.... when you got a pipe and slippers!
you want the best exhaust for the 182... BTB is the way to go. They will be ready in a few weeks, taking deposits now.
do a search and see all the positive comments.
It is a true performance system, not something knocked up, to sound ROOOOOD!!!
its the john cooper works exhaust systems that are slash cut, as its been said.
Depends on how much of the JCW kit is on the car, as the full kit raises power to around the 210 bhp mark, not bad out of a 1.6, with full BMW warrenty!
