did she not run it past you what she was getting?
as then you could of cut her off at the pass!!
i dont actually think its that bad, and she could of got something alot worse!
cost would probably be astronomical, as someone would have to design and fabricate said crank.
as for power gains, from my saxo days, it was said a stroker kit on a Supercharged saxo engine would be beneficial, as the engine runs at stock rev's, but you get the increased capacity. And when...
why not just put a longer stroking crank on it, than trying to overbore it?
Stroker kit would probably work better, as the 182 lump isnt really a high revving unit.
this thread cant be serious? FWD drifting??? hahahhahaha, oversteer yes, drifting... not in a million years!
people need to stop reading max power magazine!
it just reduces the throw of the level, by setting the pivot point higher, or lowering the level of the stick.
The only extra strain it puts on is your arm, and maybe a little on the linkage itself.
Wont hurt the gearbox at all.
TAS ones are very popular on Saxo's, shame they dont make...
decent brakes are worth more than the 2-3 bhp an induction kit will gain (or more likely lose) you.
how about a nice set of shiny 4 pots?
give us a PM if you want more info :D
dont need to take arch liner out, just undo the two screws that hold it in inder the fog light.
two screws hold the fog light in place, unclip the wiring, reverse process, job done!
the basis of a decent track car are:
Good suspension / chassis
and
Good brakes.
So go for a very good suspension set up, bushes etc. Ideally fit a roll cage, not only from a safety point of veiw, but it will stiff the chassis up no end.
Ideally a 4 pot setup with largest discs you...

what sort of extra drag does the larger cup spoiler and front splitter create?
as both being larger items on the 'cupped' cars could effect aero dynamics and in turn top end.
Tho to be honest, its probably minimal!
i guess you have never been to the nurburgring then fred?
as there really isnt any room to cool down, once you have done your lap, its straight back into the pits!
yup, loose weight, strip everything!
as for keeping up on the autbahns, how would a 0-60 help? you want more torque and top end grunt, to be able to accelerate at 100 mph +++
just on a side note, hot brakes, here are mine after a decent lap of the nurburgring....

hence why 4 pots are a must for me, and why we are developing a kit.
so, let me get this correct.......
Yozzasport say:
You dont need 4 pots, just the correct driving technique (whats that, not going fast than 20 mph?)
and...
Despite not needing said 4 pots, they are making the Ultimate brake kit (seems a bit pointless if they say they are not needed)...
sorry for lack of replys, been at the 'ring all weekend and only got back late last night.
I will have a craxk at answering questions and getting details up etc.
As for the standard brakes, they do stand up to a fair bit of punishment (mine hwere actaully SMOKING at the 'ring) , but if...
cheers for the PM's, literally heard this morning that all design drawings had been finished, so getting full details tomorrow, so can post up all specs and info for people!
cheers.
