I've just given it an hour. It's certainly not to be played like a standard FPS. I suppose it's a bit like Oblivion.
Graphically it's loads better than I was expecting. I really like the environment. I want to see Chernobyl now though. lol
Re: ps3 launch in paris crashed my xbox 360 :)
This has to be one of the best things they did:
In England, at Sony's Virgin Megastore London launch, friendly men approached people in the queue offering tired bums a seat. Their fold-out chairs bore the words, "Shouldn't have kept you waiting"...
Well it turns out they do affect your premium after all. I now have to pay an additional £36 for the two I made last year. They were missed off when I took out the policy with my current insurer but have no added them and want more money.
FFS, a none fault claim didn't add to my inurance and...
The drivers are optimised for that sort of useage. You can get hacked drivers which allow it to perform better in games though should you want to.
I'd only buy one if you intend to use it for CAD work though.
I've just installed it so I'll have a quick blast at lunch see what it's like.
One of the lads here used to be the Producer on it......about 2 years ago. lol
Excellent collectors box even if the game is s**t.
We used to SLI all our video cars here, but since everyone has started running dual monitors we've had to remove the second card as it's just redundant otherwise. If I get chance I might try and sneak a second 880GTX in just to see how fast it can go.
That would be a mighty fine gaming rig.
The next price drop is next month according to my supplier. He asked if I could wait until then, but couldn't. The quad core chips are still cheaper than when I bought the first X6800 Extreme edition for here. That's still the fastest chip in the office too.
If I get a moment I'll...
Same here. We've used AMDs for the last few years but have recently made the swap back to Intel. The Core 2 Duo/Quad are fantastic chips. I've just had 4 quad core ones delivered. At present nothing can take full advantage of them so the Core 2 duo extreme editions are still the fastest PCs in...
It's not THAT bad. Okay so it uses more memory than most people actually have, even when it's doing nothing, but it's pretty and that's important. Everyone loves to watch me tab windows around. lol
It's very stable though, something XP wasn't when that was new.
If I was building a new PC for...
I've only done retro once and that was with a Valver.
The day I picked it up I was heading home on the motorway when I heard a strange noise. I just ignored it and carried on. That was one of the centre caps flying off at motorways speeds. Luckily it didn't hit anyone or anything, as the...
The bosses don't come back.:(
You have to take the vehicles being driven by the enemy to get that one. I won't be bothering with that one. lol
The tyres one is easy, just go to the garage on the last island and take them out there. I've done quite a few of the ones needed to get the full...
I can't do the throw an object achievement. God knows why.
I only need 15 more green orbs, and a bit more to level up to the max, I'm already 4 star or more on everything, then I think I'm done with Crackdown.
I'm looking forward to some Co Op Graw 2 this evening.
Chris, you can turn the bad...
As has already been said, rolling roads won't tell you what your car has. They are only useful for relative comparisons when done on the same road, same day, same conditions.
My original 172 ran anywhere between 159bhp and 169bhp with no change to the car, just different rolling roads.
I've only been going for head shots so I don't know about injuring them. I just want to kill them before they kill me.
I was chatting to the MD about it earlier, he prefers R6 for the reasons you do. I think you'll enjoy GRAW 2 but prefer R6 by the sounds of things. You do a lot of killing...
I think I'm prefering it to Rainbow 6, but that could be down to the locations. It gets better and better, the first level is short but sweet, the second is huge and takes hours to play.
Loving GRAW 2. I'm on the final Act already. I should have the single player game finished by the end of the week. I'm playing it on the hardest setting.
Then I have the Co op stuff to enjoy.
If you are Admin you should be able to add anyone you want to that list.
We've got a couple of Admin accounts and the backup software has access to each mailbox on our servers.
Adding that permission will only allow you to add your name in the From field when sending a mail.
To access the mailbox itself you'll need to go into Exchange Advanced and then into Mailbox rights. Just add yourself and give yourself the relevent permissions, or just sod it and add the lot. lol
