Rob, it is a MKI or at least it would be a MKI in the UK as the centre console where the time and temp are displayed on the dash and also the vents are definitely MKI as the MKII time and temp display is more flush with the dashboard but as you can see from that pic it is higher than the dash...

That is more what I was thinking Marc, any chance I get I boot it but recently I just havent driven it as much as I used to. Not sure whether it is because the novelty has worn off or it is just because the weather does not really allow fast driving right now.

At the moment I am probably driving it for an hour a day, maybe a little more. I NEVER thrash it before it has warmed up but I was just wondering if it will turn out to be slower because I am not thrashing it all the time. It has only done 5100 miles.

Cheers guys, I got a stone chip in the middle of the screen from Brands Hatch too so it may be worth getting it repaired at the same time, I will check with my insurance to see if it will affect premiums, hope not.

Is there any way to get rid of scratches on your windscreen ? My wipers went across the screen and decided to leave a nice round scratch on my screen and in the sunlight it is seriously doing my head in ! Any advice ?
