the 4agze only makes around 140bhp better off with a willy or megane engine making 150 standard with some head work cams etc or maybe throttle bodie make a lot more
the rings centre the wheel on the hub so that each bolt gets a quarter of the wheel. i ran with out rings on my old corsa for a year no probs at all. not having them means its just a pain fitting the wheel
the reason why coilovers are about is so your able to slam your car plus height adjustment on the car. they also offer better clearence.
I would say if your not interested in slamming your car then save your money and get a koni or spax kit
yeah its a t20 star nut but you must take the steering wheel off first to get that bit off careful when pulling either off as there is some white tape in the indicator stalk bit, it likes to pop out.
t45 for the steering wheel mark on the column with tipex where it was
done the conversion and got all the stuff from matt few mishaps along the way but it all came together well. people can say "sell it and buy a 172" but it more fun burning off the chavs in a 172 dymanique i tell you.

sounds like their are some scores in the disks like when a stone gets trapped in the disk. i would get a second opinion from an independant garage 10k and they should be nicely bedded in
Are you on about the TDC sensor?
its attached to the gearbox 2 10mm bolts under the airfilter as you say ... whats the problem you have been having with your 172?
