on your other tread i posted that the hazard light switch is linked to the UCH which is under the glove box

see if there are any loose connections first but you might need a new one as they break easy
i have one spare if you want to...
k&n will be ok it will still suck hot air in even though it has a cold air feed.
you can pic 2nd hand vipers up off ebay for £100 that would be a better bet

yeah the 172 disks are rubbish drums all the way. you will see it if your going to trax now with 1.2 badges
drive shafts are hollow and getting my mate to tig weld them. forgot it has a hydraulic clutch! well have to think of that between us!

thinking about the 225 for my next project. ive been reserching the mounts and will get them made up by my uncle
cable shift conversion has stumped me whats your plan with this?
172 lump is the most economical way what i did after thinking of all the options.
no one but matt has done any other conversion on a mk2 clio
fred: with your upcoming 225 conversion which box are you putting in as the pk6 wont fit will it?
make sure they have done the drain plug up tight.
or
next to the drain plug there is a seal oil will be coming from here if its leaking s get under the car and have a look there
Who has a 172 with a decat? which 02 sensor if any have you disconnected?
with my decat i unhooked the post cat 02 sensor but my car runs rough and rich but ok with it connected
who has had problems with theirs?
dont use hammerite on your engine it cant take the heat. you can buy engine laquer from motorworld works a treat costs £6 and paint it while the rocker cover is still on.
then magnacor leads (in colour of your choice)
samco hoses (colour of your choice)
hill power bend colour of your choice...
