I think the unassuming presence (relatively speaking) is something they build into the brief when designing the cars, I think its spot on tbh, imagine if they covered them in scoops & spoilers etc they would loose there touch! Then again ;):

Sounds like a stone or something similar in the pad, either that or the pad is wearing unevenly and the lead edge is scoring the disc. Get the pads off, that will probably reveal the problem.

Thanks mate. They really are awesome for the money. I sold my Evo Recaros & had a lot of change left over after getting these! As a plus side they slide too so are more usable day to day.
