If you want to pop in I'll put my test UCH unit on to see if it resolves the hazzard/window switch issue for you. It'll make buying a new one easier to bare knowing it will sort it out properly and I can do the config work to if you like.
Mick
Thats the brake servo vac feed... pretty important.
Can be changed and looks damaged. They do melt when the cars are thrashed which leaves you with a rock solid brake pedal that does nothing or brakes that lock on... scarey
The level senders do go faulty (My Laguna Turbo did this a couple of times and then stopped doing it till the day I sold it) and when they do they tell the dash there's no oil hence the warning.
If you are 100% sure the electronic oil level check reading is incorrect and have confirmed the oil...
This is Harpham... he's a great guy even if he does wear childrens clothes but I can see this ending with one wheel toeing out and neg. camber on the other (and to clarify he doesn't wear actual clothes off kids, he's not on "the register").
Honestly, just help him lol
Whilst I'm aware of the Clio IV thread and not wanting to go too far OT here or start splitting hairs the X65 front arches were subtly flared. The 197/200 were masively OTT and on standard track and wheels they could've easily ran the Dynamique-S wings without any issue. I do like them to drive...
Give it 12months or someone who doesn't give a flying fook about preserving the Renault warranty and I'm sure we'll be seeing regular 250-300hp Clios.
I personally prefer the new incognito RS-4 looks over the stupid wide glued-on winged rubbish of recent as the potential for some...
Thats the sealed moulded unit Dan as per the bloody rubbish scenics and some Laguna II. The one you're thinking of has a metal body and plastic stat house.
Maybe because selling tuning parts for the X65 is pretty much dead now? Maybe there's so many second hand parts floating around no-one is willing to pay what ktec want for new? Maybe they just got sick of having their teeth kicked in by internet warriors with mates down the pub who can build a...
Seriously, can we just have one thread with KTec mentioned in it that doesn't skew off into a "they're s**t" and "do not use them" thread?
I don't care either way, I've no connection to them as a business but it makes the club look a little childish with the constant same old same old crap. The...
You've pretty much answered your own question here. Yes, of course its entirely possible and probable that the timing is once more incorrect.
You really should just take it to someone that knows what they're doing and has the correct tooling because we try not to scare monger too much. There's...
Nope but if you give Adam a call at the retail hub I promise he'll hook you up cheaper than anyone else will for one.
If you're struggling to find him let us know
My 153k 172 failed yesterday on just one with minor play which is tonights fix before home. Easy enough but i prefer to remive the entire hub to do it rather than struggle for space. Honest advice here based on experience - Don't buy cheap crap from eBay or autofactors as you'll be doing the job...
I hate them... and you'll need to declare it to your insurance company. Honestly, just bite the bullet and get a new key fob supplied (£90) then get it programmed (£45 at most) as you already have a working blade.
I've had a couple of cars in that have been there before and that's not trying to knock him. From what I hear the guy that runs it is an ex-RTE and he's got CLIP so likely to be able to give a no BS answer.
It's pretty rare for the EPS itself to properly die and normally it's a data issue prohibiting it from working. Who's got it if you don't mind me asking and do they have CLIP?
Proberbly speed signal loss (due to the abs fault) as it needs this to work out assistance level.
No idea what that code is about though, crap equipment. Anything from your specialist yet?
Some people prefer certain tuners and they have their reasons... I'm not getting involved there but regarding your actual question yes, as you're running a 99ron the cars ignition and fuelling will be optermised based on that.
That being said you will still be able to run the car on a 95ron but...
Please, thats not high - my 172 is on 153k miles and doesn't use a drop despite repeated trampings on track.
I swear by 9k oil/filter changes and use ELF SXR 5w/40
