if my car didnt cost 10k then id lower it.. lol
was considering lowering it but thought long and hard about it and decided agaisnt it
main reasons were because ive previously had a stupidly low car.
i dont want to cut away at my arches or bumper brackets
i dont want a rough harsh...
197 looks dull big and boring.
tiny bonnet
engine looks crap
dials look as boring as the current RS ones.
hidden exhausts??
brembos an option??
clio v6 for me next for a couple of months hopefully then a golf r32 i think.
they worked good when i first fitted them.. but then went crap very soon after
i think it was contamination off the road (i do work on a coal terminal and had to take my car on there for 2 weeks so i think it may be from that.. black wet shitty coal everywhere)
ive spoke to various people...
i fitted ds2500's and they were shockingly poor.. think it was contaminated discs/pads though
fitted new genuine discs and pads and stops ok again.. so im sticking with standard from now on.
oh the ds2500's you have to grind the ends off them to fit them, and they squeek like a b**ch...
sounds like the seals have gone
you can have it reconned.
you can buy rebuild kits for most turbos quite cheaply.. but its a bit of an art getting them backtogetehr and working properly i think. due to them spinning at stupid rpm.. think they go as fast as a jet engine or something (IIRC)
plus you dont have to speak to some clueless idiot the other side of the world who can hardly speak english :clown:
i bought my insurance online from bell, no probs.
awesome
you'll be spending MANY hours trying to get used to it and getting the best from it
theyre awesome cameras when you know how to use them!
how much did it cost if you dont mind me asking?
a renewal discount?? whos that with?
everytime ive got a renewal through, ive got an online quote by the SAME company with the same info and its been over 500 quid CHEAPER!
they rely on rich people who cant be bothered to ring around and just pass it on to their butler to pay it. lol
well he may aswell just get a quote online with say directline, putting in his info if he did claim.. i.e one claim, and 2 yrs less no claims than he would have.
think your missing the point though.
it would be much cheaper still to claim and pay roughly the same premium next year, and have the car fitted with brand new genuine bits.
but the thing is..
his insurance is say circa 1.8k now.
he fixes the car which will cost over 1.5k easily.
but his insurance next year will be around 1.8 k anyway coem renewal time as opposed to circa 1k if he keeps his no claims
so 800 quid difference insurance and having a car...
