Although i don't suppose it makes a fat lot of difference. You'll get the old toxic warning light come on regardless of what you do. loll
They're fairly loud. Sound metallic and raspy and people will think you have a hole in your exhaust as you have no visible tailpipe.
Oh and most of them don't seem to fit very well. But apart from that they're fine. lol
Nope, hence calling it a day with the PC. There were still some serious scratches left, but I went as far as I was happy to go without further experience/guidance. It was a massive improvement and the owner was happy so I quit whil I was ahead. lol.
His ex-missus had borrowed his car. Whilst...
They're not shy in a straight line as standard. I'm sure they're like 14 seconds to the ton out of the box. They're really overlooked too and not regarded as a serious sports car by most - To thier peril!
Definitley a marmite car in terms of appearance. Personally I think they look...
I only switch it off if I'm off for some roundabout fun.
Whilst most of us like to think 90mph sweeping bends are where we have fun, in reality for me it's 40 mph roundabouts lol
The best, and cheapest, option id to simply get a panel filter for the OEM airbox for about £40. It's not perfect but it's a darn sight better than anything pipercross have ever come up with.
LOL - He'll have no paint left at this rate. lol
Took me 4 hours to do some serious defect removal on my mates bonnet on his corsa. Could have done with a rotary really.
Sssmall F&F Clio ***** lol ^^^
Had mine since November 2003, from new.
Wanted to change it loads of times, but recent house purchase has put a new motor on hold for while!!!
Moonstone? Rare in the 106 n'est-ce pas?
My Hdi Dturbo was moonstone - Got nothing but positive comments about the colour.
It's a lovely car, but I'm gonna buck the trend and say it looked better completely standard!
np dude.
I've just worked out why I took that photo in the first place.... One side has silvervisions the other doesn't!!!
She was barerely a few weeks old then :(
Well it isn't in your case as you're doing it for a legitimate reason.
The real question is will people look at your car and think you are a boy racer chav scum? Undoubtedly!
Yep the engine is seemingly the most reliable part. Niggly electrical faults and general build issues apply to all of them.
Commonest fault I have seen on the mk2 ph1 172 is the cable for the throttle snapping or sticking.
I'd say FF all day long - Similar driving experience to the Cup but with all the luxuries. Horses for courses! :D :approve:
And you just know, deep down, that you neeeed xenon headlamps. lol :o
And outside of the tarnished world that is CS the Trophy will be seen by the majority as a Clio...
Then you're going to need a standard exhaust system.
Even the aftermarket 'stealth' systems are far louder than standard in reality.
If I had the time I'd get a patent exhaust set up. Direct replacement for the OE one but no louder and made from stainless. The rate at which the standard...
Putting coilovers on a car and not getting them properly set up is crazy. It's like buying a new radio and not bothering to tune it lol.
Too many people buy coilovers simply to lower there car rather than improve the handling.
Too many of the 'Slam it' brigade on here.
Spend some wedge...
Unless you knew that the Cup didn't have one (which few would off the top of thier head) then they did the right thing by pointing it out. I'd wager there are a few garages that wouldn't even have noticed.
