Wicked cheers guys.
The back there is no lip so over hang would be fine. There is a small lip at the front so that would need to be considered, but it only looks like a few inches.
Next step would be to test the car actually on it. I was just trying to work out if it's even worth the journey...
Oh yeah I get your point, didn't think about that.
What wheelbase published? Couldn't find one when I had a quick look on Google.
Just trying to work out if a Clio could maybe squeeze on a 3.3 bed surface or whether the over hang would definitely be a no no.
Looking like it probably wouldn't...
Not sure what the technical term actually it.
But does anyone know the actual length, from front of front wheel to rear of rear wheel please?
Clio 182, if it matters.
Cheers.
On their own, no. Probably only 2-3bhp gain in them, if that! But as said, the fact I knew they could be improved was a good enough reason for me.
Every little helps.
Can always sell them on when you sell the car too if your that bothered about £150.
If I was starting again from scratch I...
Glad you got it sorted. If you want an air con set up give me a shout. Recently took mine out and was fully working before hand with only 40k of usage.
This to be honest.
Can't begin to imagine why on earth you would want a car looking like this.
I'd be far to embarrassed to be seen in that personally.
If you like it though and are happy to drive around in it then that's all that matters!

I've been up against my mates. My Clio was a fair bit better in the corners but he just had the edge on the straights. Difference of about 6mph on the back straight at Bedford.
He's got decent coilovers now though so I'm sure it'll be a different story when they are set up properly.
