when you do the emissions test reverse a courtesy car are a newish car up to the MOT bay and stick the emmision testing probe into the back box of that car - that will get you through. Are just bolt your old cat back on
OK - the 1st thing you need to do is hook a "clip" diagnostic computer up to the diagnostic point to find out what has exactly blown ( under the ash tray ) you have a choice.........

You lot are nuts - the K9K engine is a bag of spanners. The heads go at about 75k, the injection pumps are always braking and they need injectors every 50k.....theres no way i would buy a 1.5 dci with 150k on the clock - as for a potential 300k.......yeh right !!!
These are such a problem - 1st of all what year is your car ??????? if your vehicles plip key activates your central locking and arms and disarms your immobilser the 1st thing to check is the batteries. When you have done this the 2nd thing to do is take the plip key apart and check for breakage...

On clios the fuel tank sender unit is situated under the rear seat. Sometimes the ring that holds the sender unit down becomes lose or distorted - Also check the rubber seal that fits into the ring. If either of these are loose, petrol fumes will seep into the inside of the car.
Change the clutch cable using a genuine cable not a GSF copy. The cable has a built in adjuster and if fitted correctly with a new bulk head grommet will work like new.

Yeh Guy im trailering it from now on mate, the seat is fixed it permanently. A new shape front end has been fitted and due to the slightly higher nose on the mk2 ph 2 bonnet ( and a bit of fabricating ) it closes perfect now
