you will get 2 shocks + 2 springs for the front and 2 shocks for the back.
it will lower the front end by 40mm and you will have to take the tortion bar down at the back to match the front or you will end up with a bit if a hot rod stance!!
let theose pads bed in before you give them some stick is all i will say!!
any garage should be able to do them and yes you eill be able to notice the diffrence ;-)
black smoke on boost means its not getting enough fuel and is pulling a bit of oil through this could be an ecu problem or a fuel pump problem!!
i would speak to the person who did the conversion and check exactily what he did and how he did it!!
supose you could run 205's but they would look abit crap with the rims being only 6.5j wide!!
just get a good quality 195/50 and get a better suspention set up if you want more grip in the corners
i would have 32 in the front and 30 in the back
30 all round would not account for the extra weight on the front ones!!

in other words there is alot of factors in what would be better in what condition etc
but as an over view i would say that it would be better all round if you had 8mm left on them rather than 1!!!
i started by reading a haynes manual for my mums fiesta when i was 16 then when i got my 1st car attempted little jobs/maintainence and worked my way up to complete engine swaps!!
