i think its a fixed penelty of £30 and a notice to get it removed or face further fines in court!!

i put a pipercross filter and a straight through cat back on my 1.2 and it made 96bhp on the rollong road whch ant bad, i lowered it 60mm on a spax kit and it was awesome fun to drive just not all that fast in a straight line!!
i only used to use mine on the strip but was the cheapest way of gaining 75 bhp with out spending ££££'s.
like mr live said you can go through a bottle in 15 mins if your not carefull on the road and at £50 a pop its expensive!!
in otherwords jay knowone could tell you a figure as knowone would be stupid enough to do it as it would cost a stupid amount of money and is not just saying oh you need this which will add "x" amount of bhp is all about putting the package together which will work and that suits the customers...

yes to number one just depend on how much you bore out your block but making it into a 2.2 would make it alot weaker!!
number two would be complete engine rebuild forged pistons etc

do a search mate, there was a threatd a while ago with the formula to work it out, it wont be that much different though, your speedo may well be about 7mph out.
