They are quite heavy. Pace wise, whilst I've not played with one yet, my mate has and it wasn't as quick as his 290ish hp impreza wagon. I've seen video evidence of that, too.
Snaps your arms off?
Just caught up on this thread after a long time.
Real shame to see the state it got left in by Dan. I think it's the age old problem of becoming too popular to cope with the work, I know back when I had the clio he was close to burning out but didn't want to take someone on as he was worried...
Maybe he didn't like people calling his name out in public  Seriously, every time I hear him come up all I can think is schmeee schmaaaa sheme.
Another channel I've just found is peterwindsor, proper nerdy F1 technical chats.
Wasn't this Tony Hunter's at one point? I know they borrowed his for 5th gear but can't remember if it was the same one.
Probably worth saving tbh, new engine, bit of tarting up, it'd probably be worth a few bob.
I like Assetto corsa's 'speedo view' which positions the camera so the physical wheel is roughly in the right position, and some games I like going inside because it looks so good, but I find the roof/bonnet view easiest to drive quick with.
You're not paying to see it a couple of days early. You're paying to support the project.
If they made that much money out of it they'd give up their day jobs and concentrate on Binky full time.
New episode is available on Patreon, so you lot should be seeing it before too long.
They timed how long it took to make just a single bracket. I think if you struggled to see why it takes so long you'll realise why after.
Who cares
less rules and more guidelines
who's going to stop you going over there, the drone police
etc etc etc
IIRC.
p.s. nice video but naughty naughty!
Petrolicious, doing a lot of classic Ferraris at the moment.
Bad Obsession Motorsport, they're gods of fabrication, building a Celica turbo Mini, with a lot of Naked Gun style comedy along the way.
Colin Furze does car based stuff occasionally, you should be subscribed to him anyway...
A lot of it is torque as well. Naturally aspirated engines are nice but they simply don't have the shove of a turbo lump. Torque wise you're pushing pretty much the same as an F430.
I was helping someone calculate the 0-60 of one of these for his degree recently.
