Your's seemed the same as mine Justin, so I'll go with 647 I think.
I want to pick as similar colour as possible, so if I don't spray all the 'behind' bits, it's not going to be overly noticable!
Anyone know what colour silver the Ph1 172 (and, in fact, probably all silver alloy) wheels are? Have decided I'm going to try to do a DIY refurb before shelling out for a pro job, so would appreciate someone knowing what colour I should be buying.
Am planning on getting it from auto-paint, so...
Renault are quite expensive but I have always found the match spot on, unlike Halfords who are very much hit and miss. I would never recommend anyone to use their mixing service - nowhere near the colour I needed, and they tried about 3 times.
Performance-wise, I don't believe it would be worth the change, so I guess it's down to personal preference on looks and the fact that you'd be owning a newer car.
I personally prefer the look of the Mk1, but my second favourite is the Cup, so I wouldn't personally make the change but can...
I've recently formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows, etc from scratch.
Now, for some reason, the @ key comes up as ", and vice versa. Various keys across the keyboard have been inverted in what I assume is the American version. For example, I also have no pound symbol!
What option...
That's all fine, don't bother. Make sure you declare your tints, Lexus lights and LED washer jets though, insurance companies are buggers for the detail!
Taylor, I don't mean to have a go, but why is every comment from you recently so negative?
So, you've had a bad experience from Renault, you have a choice but just don't appear to be taking it. You're not obliged to post comments in this thread and you are not obliged to own your 172.
I...
It's part of life, I recall paying over a grand TPFT for a 1 litre Cinquey when I first passed!
It makes you appreciate cheaper insurance when you're of an age where you are ready to upgrade your car though...
I'd guess at a sticking pad or caliper, especially if it seems to be kicking up noticably more dust.
Drive a short distance and then compare the heat of each brake...
If you want AG, you may as well pop to Halfords mate, but all the other things are available at the various online stores above. Oh, and Megs shampoo is passable (Gold Class is good though...), but there are a lot better ones available.
Williams are, in my experiences, quicker, just. Depends on the individual car and driver though.
A standard valver should be comfortably beaten though.
How do you format a Hard Drive?
Odd question, but in the past I've always had a recovery disc which has done it for me. Now I just have my copy of windows, which I want to put onto the Hard Drive once everything's been wiped clean, but obviously I can't format the HD whilst in Windows, because...
Think I'm all sorted, cheers guys.
Found out what mobo it is and have gone to their website and found what I think are the right audio drivers. I now recall having to do this when I first bought the PC, so know I'm on the right track!
I've just formatted my hard drive abd reinstalled Windows and all the essential programs to get it running better, as I do every so often..
... but my speakers aren't playing any sound and I imagine it's because the drivers aren't installed. How do I go about finding what drivers I need? Is it...
