to be honest i cheated on mine after doing the first and second oen half by hand it was taking f**king ages, got a flap wheel in the drill and it took the texture off in no time.

Re: Discovered my 172 is a Import
i think you should be able to get 500 quid back to cover getting an alarm fitted, buying some locking wheel nuts, and the inconvenience of them lying to you..
alot of aftermarket headunits have the feature fitted in.. you can have it so it dims when the headlights are switched on..
95% sure its so when your in the dark cab at night you havent got bright lights all over the place pissing you off..lol
your rear screen looks really.. erm different.. dunno what it is.. cant quite put my finger on it..
is it tinted??
or maybe its just cos youve taken out the elf sticker??
dunno why but it just seems different?!
autoglym engine n machine cleaner is good isnt it.. glad r-jay mentioned it!
been using it on my wheels and tyres lately, and agitating it with a paintbrush, coming up quite well.
when it gets warmer though going to take wheels off and give them a really good clean and like you have...
quote seems a bit cheap, did you phone up and tell them it was a 2.0 182 engine going in??
21 years old, 3 years no claims, on a real 182 is 1200 quid.. (3 points too tho)
they love to SHAFT modifiers so thought it would be a lot higher than that..
Re: Discovered my 172 is a Import

as regards the import.. go back ASAP and explain that you was told the cr was full UK spec car when its infact and import.. point out all the facts i.e. no alarm locking wheel nuts window etchings.
try blagging about 500 quid...
