from my experience a mk1 is a tad quicker to a ton due to the gearbox ratio

you would also need the UCH control unit which is situated under the N/S part of the dash up by the bonnet release - this contains part of the immobiliser and relays for your indicators / lights etc. As fred said get a radiator and fans + reservoir as well. You will also need the decoder ring...

No mate there isnt - when an airbag deploys it is deployed by the airbag computer + the seatbelt pretensioner will have fired off as well. You can replace the airbag ( used one for £50 ) and will also have to replace the airbag computer as once they have fired off they are not re-programmable...

The correct gearbox code for a 1.6 16v laguna is a JB3 910. The JC5 box will fit on the K4M engine ( 1.6 16v ) but you will run into problems..... the TDC sensor mounts will be different and also the digital impulse speedo sensor may be different as some are actually powered of the ABS pump and...
