And the 182 Cup wheel is seriously fugly. If the 182 Cup wheel was your stepchild you'd beat it like it was ginger.
I have to say that the fact you can't adjust the reach of the steering wheel pisses me off more than it's size.
I'd say about 20kg for the whole lot, which is about the single biggest piece of weight loss from the car.... then you've got the load on the engine, and the extra 1's and 0's in the ECU to control it too. :clown:
It does defeat the object a little, but is Ok for people who aren't quite...
No, It's actually 200PS. For some reason they have gone from using PS(172/182/255 etc) to using BHP (197). So it's actually cracked the 100PS/Litre barrier which is pretty impressive for an N/A engine.
Although whether any of them actually make 197 bhp is another matter. lol.
I use a wacom one - Although it was £50. lol.
Certainly much easier to be accurate than with a mouse. It's pressure sensitive and all that shizzle - And you can turn the pen upside down and use the top as an eraser. lol.
Nice one Lee... the way you describe the handling reminds me of my old 306.
What we're dealing with here is an entirely different kettle of fish compared to previous Clios.
I think Mark Cup has hit the nail on the head - This is the first in a long line of RS's and there's no denying...
Bespoke tyres.... Are Renault still spouting that drivel? I guess they must be, and I guess some people are still buying it...
Remember when the 182 had bespoke tyres? LMFAO!
And I want 'Elf' and 'F1' to breathe on my engine.... Did you know that Williams handcrafted each and every Clio...
It's horses for courses at the end of the day. My FF 172 owning friend uses a race prepped caterham for his weekend blasts - So people would inccorectly make the assumption that he's a bit soft if they saw him in his 172.
Obviously a Caterham isn't as 'hardcore' as a Cup though....:rolleyes...
Funny to read about peoples thoughts on non-cupped 182's. I feel exactly the same. Why wouldn't you get the Cup packs>?! lol
Either an import or a gay driver. In fact just gay. lol.
Sorry mate - Group N has now gone due to it not controlling my Cruise Control. Didn't seem to control my climate correctly either - Could hear compressor clicking in and out. Now back to normal with standard ECU.
The group N I had was supplied by Renault and not a reflash by a third party...
Put a crack in your windscreen. Pay the £50 or whatever to your insurance and ask the windscreen company for a Clio 172 Cup windscreen. Thinner so lighter and no UV protection so you can get a signal on your sat nav without an aerial. lol.
