I don't mean just roads with patches of ice, obviously in any conditions such as that, lower speed and slower steering is a thing of necessity as TC/ESP won't save you from bad driving, but it will be less punishing should you hit something you didn't account for.
The conditions i spoke of...
I love all you hardcore boys...
"I like to know im in control!!"
"Dont need it ever, im too good of a driver!"
Its nothing to do with how good of a driver you are, on these roads (round here at least) if you hit a patch of ice and your back starts to slide mid corner - it will help you...
Personally i wouldnt want to be without it in bad conditions, i reckon ESP has saved me 2/3 times this winter on wet/icy roundabouts.
But given the weather is improving, the tarmac will be getting better - i'd say don't bother now the worst weather is past us (hopefully).
Nah will be fine mate, Renault will have put a buffer zone after the MAX mark in such cases, any excess will simply burn off. If you put exceedingly large amounts in though you could flood your pistons and f**k your engine up - but thats a fair few inches over the MAX mark id expect.
Right kindly edde has forwarded me this guide for MK1 172 maintainence, i've uploaded it too:

I'm just wondering if there is a more recent release of this document as its labelled 1999 obviously for MK1 172.
So feel free to grab it, view it. But...
Leave the lights well alone, OE cluster is best one there is imo. Personally i'd prefer to spend my £100 on a decent set of springs or something thats going to positively affect the handling of your car.
If it wasn't for getting a fully stamped book, the 48k service is a joke anyway. Anybody with a decent set of tools and some common sense could check the car over from the listed checklist.
Prefer it if they sorted out 1.2.1 before they released EU Force like they said they would...some of the bugs in 1.2.0 are really annoying the hell out of me!

172 horn is great anyway :)
Favourite past-time of mine is beeping my horn at people about 2 seconds before i pass them (pedestrians) and wave at them frantically. 90% of the time you see them waving then turn around wondering who the hell they know with a clio. Old people are best, but its a...
Who the f00k is going to buy the suspension from that!
It's probably been compressed to breaking point...imo shouldn't be allowed to sell things which could be damaged and fail at anytime.
Moron!
Get quotes from Admiral/Bell/Elephant as they're all the same group, but they give very different quotes. Also try Direct Line, Tesco and Greenlight.
See what offers you get.
^^How the f00k did you manage that, you looked to be turning in and then opp. locked it?
You damage your motor on the tyre wall or anything?
Good videos :)
Its a b**ch that, scumbags!
But this sort of thing makes me wonder; it takes someone to break into a car and steal their belongings before they spend money on alarms and trackers. The people that robbed your sub were kids, opportunistic kids. If when they popped your boot the alarm went off...
This week i've noticed that on occasion when locking the car, the drivers side door is making a kind of groaning noise, almost like its straining.
Just wondered if anybody had got similar experience of this, and if so how it was rectified. The door locks fine and it doesn't happen every time...
