I love comments like "drive it properly..." lol, in certain conditions it has nothing to do with driving properly, sometimes bad road, bad weather, diesel it doesn't matter who is behind the wheel they are likely to have it spinning momentarily.
Best bet imo, keep the exhaust, get a decat then get a decent panel filter.
I still stand by the fact that induction kits, literally suck and should be left to the 18 year old corsa boys. Honestly really cannot get my head around the use of the IK on the clio RS, they simply don't help at all...
Right im due for my 48k service in about 500 miles, however im wondering will the SERV light come on when i hit 48k? Or will that only appear when the ECU reports and logs a fault?
Yeh, basically its where the back bracket attached and was welded onto, but indeed there are hefty holes, and honesty my car sounded horrible and lost some punch me thinks.
Yesterday i got my best ever MPG, ironically its because i took my dad to pick up his Porsche boxster s and on the way there my exhaust started blowing and got worse and worse. So over a 120 mile journey i got an MPG of 45.6. Drove normally on the way there, but driving sensibly, and on the way...
If your car is seriously idling at 5,000rpm mate it is wrong mate, very wrong - but im thinking your dials much be reading incorrectly to be giving you that feedback.
Take it to a garage and get an opinion.
Just shows though that it is a load easier to break into someones house than to try and steal the car conventionally. Are they really that secure immobiliser wise?
Your saving grace might be that LPG conversion, if i see one on ebay/trader/road with LPG ill report it.
So my exhaust starts blowing last week, and yesterday it really started blowing badly.
Took it to renault to look at, and within 20 seconds of it being on the ramps i got a verdict -
"Nah thats shot mate, you need a new exhaust. Will cost you £306"
Took it to a renault specialist, and...
Aye, pikeys.
Well this is the latest Feb 24th release that i've uploaded so feel free to scoop it everybody and give it to your friends/family and pets.
Ill get Mrach 06 when thats released and do the same.
Fraid not mate, the files are .OV2 and the Garmin i believe reads .CSV files. If you can find a way to convert them thenit should work, but not sure if POIedit is capable of doing so.

It really angers me that those cheeky cnuts have started charging for something that we the public helped build in the first place, everything has to make money these days. I for one have reported circa 5 cameras...
Agreed, i take my car to its limits a lot of the time on the roads and ok i don't try and get 140 out of it, but i do use the funny pedal a lot and i do appreciate pace, and handling.
Other point is people are always bitching about the driving position, but personally its fine for moi...
Yes, we are obsessed with BHP - what heterosexual male doesn't find the Veyron statistics sexual? The fact you aren't obsessed with BHP is equally pathetic.
Your eyes are deceiving you then:
182 Cup - 1060KG
172 Cup - 1011KG
Glasses please? :)
It may not be 100%, but i'd say thats going to be a pretty accurate time wise. Indeed speed isn't everything, but its just lame that they make the MK3 so god damned heavy, and yes its safer probably but...
Just found these on letstorquebhp and found it interesting, cannot believe Renault have actually made a slower car if these are anything to go by. It best handle like nothing on earth if this is going to convert the performance nuts on here, or be easily modded.
Nah i know Y0z and fred do some nice packages, but thats more than im looking to pay for a system given i could get prospeed/ktec for £300.
Just wanted some fresh ideas if anybody knows of any good establishments in the midlands.
Just realised tonight that my fking exhaust has started blowing on my 53 plate 172. Going to take a look at the damage tomorrow and see if it can be bandaged or welded, failing that i guess its time for a stainless steel exhaust.
Bringing me to my next question, wheres the best place to go in...
Yeh its on the same place, great isn't it! You just wait until you have to change your oil, getting the filter off is a cow (on the RS at least) and then finding the correct 8mm square socket for the sump bolt is also a job.
The dipstick is also fking useless as you can't pull it straight out...
