Amazingly well behaved for a Coombe action day.
I ended up going with some mates on their stand, didn't find out I was going until I got a phone call at 5:30. Some epic clios out there TBH, particularly Dan's T-cup, that was bloody epic!
Are those chrome arches?
I'd go for the 2.3 as bash said, but hey, if it's cheap...
Currently watching a big white 850 barge its way around Coombe, it's slow as fook but great fun to watch.
Did it!
Have a look in here;

Might be worth locking off the brake bias adjuster like the 172 cups had, may need a hydraulic handbrake, as the clio ones are notoriously bad.
Pilot Sport 3.
In case you haven't realised it yet, you're going to end up with about 20 people advising you to go with all 3 of the tyres listed and then probably a load of other tyres too.
Yeah, osram nightbreaker ultimate.
Dual optics is usually much easier, but check inside your fusebox for the space for the dual optic fuse, as some cars don't have the same fusebox. Mine did though, and was a grande.
Yeah, I only had them because I changed the bumper, and the new one happened to have fogs on it. Looked into wiring them up but didn't have the loom connections.
Of course you could go completely aftermarket and create everything from scratch with your own switch.
From what I remember...
There's a loom which connects the two fog lamps together, and to the connector, which if installed (my 1.2 never had it) is in behind the headlight on the passenger side IIRC. Someone with a 172/non sport with fogs will have to confirm.
Two screws is all that holds in...
You can run pops and bangs with a cat, or without a cat.
However, if you run the former, it will eventually end up with you running the latter, as it'll smash it up over time.
Walkie talkies don't actually come under the same legislation as mobile phones, in fact as long as they're not connected to a communications network they're fine.
I use a fork. Slides either side of the motor spindle.
You need to stick some tape down where the fork rests against the dial face though, to avoid scratching it.
Hi folks.
Summer is coming which means there will be lots of meets going on, and where there are meets, there are convoys!
One of the main problems with convoys is communication. I think we've all been in the situation where we're screaming out the window on the motorway trying to tell someone...
Classic car racing is violent as f**k.
Wasn't actually near fatal, suffered a broken collarbone and 'just' knocked out, but still a very nasty shunt - you can hear the POK! as the helmet hits the ground.
