If the group buy goes ahead, then I think they should match the best price available on the net, or beat it. These are available for £28 delivered from ebay in the usa. I bought one and didnt pay a penny more.
Come on, I am interested as much as Fred, I was hoping for a heated discussion, so I could learn more about the mysterys of wild cams.
I would be very interested in why you think fitting them wrong would cause them to tap.
that wont help, i dont think. Need to find the siren and disconnect it, or just leave it on and it will stop after a while. You probably know this though.
Not in a hurry to do this, just gonna keep my eyes open, and see what comes along.:D
Have been reading up on how they work. What is the overlap time thingy called, has it got a special name, so i can check specs of certain cams, or is the info not generally available?
What sort of price would...
Yep, i remember you saying that piper ones tick too loudly.lol.
Is it safe to buy second hand if I get a decent make?
And i think 200bhp, was a bit optimistic. just had a search and 197 seems to be a standard figure, now that is strange.....
Looking to get into 200bhp territory, looked into throttle bodies, but cant justify cost, for a relatively small gain for the price. Plus it would cost big money for me to keep cruise control.
I am after a good set of cams, and wondering if it best to get second hand ones, then get the experts...
I dont see the point in replacing crap with crap, fair enough having a sub to fill in the bottom end, but if you are looking for better speakers, I would have just spent the 60 on a good set of components.....
I have a cg-lock , so I dont slide anywhere, I tried it without it the other day, and you just cant chuck the car around, as you do end up in the passenger seat.
