Everything has gone wrong since the oil emptied out my engine about a week ago.

I plan to do that tomorrow, the can also clean the mess up they left me.

It must be related to the oil leak i had the other day, as I havent had any problems like this before hand.

If i hold the throttle position constant the car sometimes, jerks violently on and off the power, this is not the common lumpy idle problem. It is very dangerous when cornering, i nearly crashed earlier. Any ideas, back to renault again tomorrow.:mad:

is it any of your business? It's besides the point, I am pissed off that renault seem to think that AFR effect the s**t flowing through unfiltered oil in the oil pump.

cheers Rob, I hope so too, the feckers are saying they shouldnt have done the work they have done, as they say my engine was chipped. And the chip is apparently responsible for an oil pump failure. I'll post some pics up of the mess they left my engine bay in.

I was told a chipped engine can cause the oil pump to fail.............f**king idiots.:mad:

high mileage 172 around 2000/2001 plates can be had for £3000. If any thing goes wrong you have saved yourself 2000, and that can pay for a new engine.;)

Yep, probably to make a quick buck as said. Nothing wrong with that, as the guy he bought it off needed to sell quick and it had a bit of damage.

I took all that plus my sub and mdf base and the car feels loads quicker. I am wondering if there is much point, apart from mot reasons, to remove seatbelts and all rear plastic trim....
