If you type "ipconfig" at the command prompt as Mike says it will show you your "Default gateway address". This is the IP you need to type into a web browser to access the router setup/status pages. One more question.. How's your pc connected to the router? Ethernet, USB or wireless?

Nope that's your external IP address. The IP to access the router will be with your manual/instructions.

You'll normally use an IP address to login to the router from a web browser. I know BT products used to use 192.168.1.1.

Using a modem or router? Any chance of your line stats?

I take it you used the BT login (speedtest@speedtest_domain) when you used their wholesale tester?

If you're refering to 12mbps that's simply the speed your LAN (wireless) is connected at and nothing at all to do with ADSL.

Probably an insurance scam. He sells the phone on Ebay. Leaves it a few days/weeks then tells his provider it's been nicked. They blacklist it, send him a brand new phone and he's chuffed to bits as he not only has a new phone but your money too. Happens every day on Ebay.

Why not say you're 65 instead? Their fault if they don't check :clown: Perhaps you'd think twice about lieing if an un-insured driver crashed into you.
