Yeah I could get them cheaper, but I've gone to the same place for about 4 years and so kinda know the people and know they'll take care of my wheels and treat me well... which most garages don't!
The 16" could be the reason... forgot there were different sizes!
Yeah just pop to a smaller local garage and ask if they can fit them for £30 or so.
I always recommend buying your tyres form the place that fits them, even if it costs a bit more. I think they'll take greater care if you're paying more money with them. TBH I paid £85 for two T1-R's, bought...
Seriously, they're awesome fun. And how can you say Micra's are embarassing when you're looking at Seicento Sportings!?! I owned both a Micra and a Cinque Sporting and the Micra is by far the less embarassing car! People think you don't car what you drive, where the Sporting range suggests...
there'll probably be a small price drop, but nothing more than keeping the demand going in the post-xmas lull. the main drop will probably be around ps3 time when the competition hots up.
EDIT: Just seen you said 'for' Xmas, very unlikely. Microsoft know they'll sell loads of XBox's at the...
I'd really recommend just getting something 1litre, cheap to run, insure, cheap parts, easy to fix, and put all the cash towards your sunflower Mark, if you're keeping it and repairing it. No point spending cash on a fun car that you only want for 6-12 months...
So, you keeping your wheels...
Middo, I'd give the insurance regulators a call (whatever they're called) about that cancellation mate. I'm with Admiral as well and to be fair, I've never checked the small print regarding claims, but that sounds off. Let us know how you get on...
As for the 182, yeah I'd assume i's because...
My understanding is that insurance still runs the entire year, as you've paid for that entire year. If you were to pay by monthly installments, then you would still have to pay the installments for the remainder of the insurance year, to fund their payout effectively. If that's the case then you...
Max power will be above 5k revs, so you might be travelling fast enough by the time you get to that end of the rev range, but you probably took bloody ages to get there.
Warm it up and then give it some stick, the more you abuse it, the faster it gets.
Whichever gets the best backing and marketing will survive, the other won't, regardless of quality.
MD didn't really last very long due to solid state music players and the explosion of MP3's, it didn't have any direct competitor at release, hence why it's still a viable option in certain...
I've never been a fan of PC gaming, I just prefer turning on, putting the game (disc / cartridge) in and away you go, not having to deal with driver problems with graphics, sounds, resolutions, etc, etc.
As for the PS3, I think that, on UK release, it will be a better machine than the 360, but...
Hence my PM! :)
Didn't notice the no. plate, ironic.
Hope it's all repairable, good news that they'll let you buy it back. When do you find out if it's written off?
 Mine isn't chipped, so that's probably the first step!
Cheers mate, looks complicated but am sure it's not so bad when you walk through it.. will investigate.
Have heard good things about Eclipse, my parents are with them and have always been impressed.
Plus they're based in Exeter, so maybe I could take a wheelbarrow over to their building and bring back a load of BB for free!
Sky Freeview sucks, don't get E4 or any of the 'decent' freeview channels... I only ever watch the main 5, sometimes BBC3, ITV2 for football and Film4 once in a blue moon.
Oh, and Men and Motors.... for all the, uh, cars.
Tbh I've found them fine in the year and a half I've been with them. They were cheap at the time and, although ISP's have moved on in terms of speed, I still find plusnet to be good enough for what I need them for.
Moving house in the next month or so, so I may do a bit of research on who's...
How does it work mate? Do you burn to CD and then put into PS2 or what?
Haven't got Pro Evo 6 yet, but if I can get all these details on it then I'll go and bloody buy it now!
Looks nice for a first car mate, plenty of Mk1's around cheap though so if you don't like red, don't just buy it for the sake of it. It's all too easy to impulse buy your first cars!
