I'm bored today so thought I'd have a go at a bit of photoshopping, since I've not done it for probably over a year.
Was just looking at a few I did ages ago, and I quite like them!
Rally sl@g Polo, with wrong wheels! Interior straight out of a Scoob or something...
Mean Touran with...
Yeah, the passenger side feeds the I/K with the driver's side just a dummy. I'm tempted to feed it to the brakes, but it seems a bit pointless only cooling one brake!
What I meant as well, it'll retain value due to the rareness and exclusivity. If Renault had kept Williams 1 as the only Williams, then decent examples would fetch an absolute fortune now.
The Trophy willl keep it's value better then the other RS's though. Yes it will depreciate, but I doubt it'll hit 'Cup' prices for a few years yet.
Also, if you've been driving a Vee, then the Trophy will get you more attention than the Cup, so it depends if you want to keep the head turning...
Am liking these pics a lot! Not sure what lense he used but there's some cool effects going on...
And, if I don't say so myself, the rear shot of mine is a wonderful advert for CS... :approve:
Popped over and nicked his ported inlet today, certainly a lot cheaper than getting my own done! :D
Car felt good driving home again as well, although mostly A road / motorway stuff so not great for finding out how's she's performing, but felt smoother and livlier to me... could be a placebo...
RS Tuning do remaps specifically for your car, which obviously involves you being there, or they can do generic ECU's AFAIK, which'll take into account engine mods and improve performance, but not by as much IIRC.
I'd like someone to set up a decent remapping service in the South West too...
It'll be a well known 172 that used to be on here mate, very well modified and looked after. I don't know what's happened in the last year, but I was close to buying this myself.
And it's never 90mm lowered, but it's just about right. :)
