I won't start on the whole insuring it under a family member debate!
Sounds like a simple misunderstanding, get your dad to pop in and explain the different grille you had on, take in a photo if necessary. And the headlight should be a simple fix, probably just needs fitting properly.
The red intakes are from PiperX mate, manufacturers of the Viper Induction Kit. I bought the car with them already fitted, but AFAIK you get one intake when you buy the kit and then you can buy additional ones separately...
The idle rattling will be the baffles mate, I've not known baffles causing blowing... I'd imagine that's down to a join needing welding / fixing somewhere.
Day, mate, that's such an amazing offer, thanks! I'll meet you at the Little Chef we met at before. I'm leaving now so don't try to contact me, I'll see you in an hour or so... :D
I've used Megs Endurance the last couple of times. It's meant for the tyres but seems to do a job on all trim. I make sure I buff off after half an hour or so though!
As I've already said mate, noticed them even on mine, where they barely show on silver. Was PC'd weeks before your's I think...
Pat it dry, you know you want to!
Autoglym do some good stuff, I've recently moved to the Super Resin and Extra Gloss and the results are more impressive than more expensive stuff I've used previously.
The exhaust divides opinions, I myself aren't too sure whether I like it or not, but I bought it that way and have never bothered to change it. It makes it unique and sounds lovely so it'll stay for a while.
As for the intakes, I find 1 foglight looks even odder!
Lol, I've got a set of colour coded ph2's sat in the boot that I've had on for a few months! Got bored and decided to go back to black for a little while... am thinking about going completely standard after xmas, with the exception of clear sides and ph2 rears...
Cheers for the comments...
Workmanship looks good, wheels aren't big enough for the style of the car, and not complex enough. Lights I'm not a fan of, but understand you need something different. Lose the wing as well, doesn't suit it.
Paintjob's impressive... :)
Looks good, the blacker the tyres, the better!
Would your mate do refurbs as well Sarah? Mine need refurbishing desparately, but the colour would stay the same...
Cheers Chris, I'm really chuffed with the last pic. Nothing particularly special about it (I'm not a photographer!) but it just seems to be framed right and the right angles, colours or whatever!
Yeah justin, a mock-182 backbox and 2x viper CAF's, with the driver side one a dummy. I'm tempted...
Gave it a good scrub over the last couple of days: clay, AG SRP, AG EGP x 3, P21s. Has come up looking nice and shiny, which'll last for all of a day in this weather, but at least it'll be easy to wash every week or so now it's got a decent layer of wax on it...
Hmm, I'm not too sure. I think it looks a bit odd having, what now look like, aftermarket wheels (different colour and all) with standard ride height. Reckon it'll look much better lowered on them.
I'd say if you are going to start colour-coding, do it properly and get ph2 strips (the ph1's...
