Right been thinking about modding the OE airbox and adding a decent feed into it on a MK2 172 (green panel filter) to see if it will aid the engine breathing. Been researching IK's for a while but i don't fancy getting flat spots or any loss of torque.
Was just wondering if anybody has already...
1. You may notice a slight difference in the way the engine revs (more freedom), and also more of an induction growl.
2. Usual places GSF/BBPT/Tweaks i think stock them.
3. A doddle.
LED's draw less voltage than bulbs so it shouldn't blow as such. But im guessing because of that you will need some sort of adaptor or just strip the wiring and resolder them together.
Bryan, any idea where i can find a suitable seal?
It appears to me only my passenger side tweeter cover that makes a noise (you can turn it anti or clockwise with your fingers. And i was actually thinking of just superglueing the damn cover down to prevent this movement which is causing a...
Maybe possible with a decent zorst and ram/ik i guess, but with a chip alone it sounds like the marketing bull you find on everything except Ronseal products.
I think it details the alarm in the manual. For my sigma alarm it basically shouldn't allow you to set the alarm with the windows down (i think) and details this via flashing and beeping 5 times.
You can test your alarm i think by holding the button down for 5 seconds or more, it should sound...
IMO your best to redex your system and run it to empty, then treat your car to a full-tank full of Optimax/BP Ultimate.
To many people put £20 of optimax into a tank thats not even near empty and expect to take off when they next open the car up.
But i would advise a fill-up on some 95 and...
If only it was that easy mate, but unfortunately companies like superchips exist and can charge what they do is because it easiest a quick fix. Anything that claims to make a 10-20bhp increase for £10 is bull, and frankly i wouldn't dare even 'plugging' that thing into my ECU.
@Norris - Haven't managed to find any other real viable solutions mate barring the IceLink when it comes to being fully compatible with OE stereo. Like you im not willing to change my stereo and lose the 'standard' look and the stalk/display functionality. Then theres the criminal element as you...
Phil, you sound like a woman making a decision about what to wear! lol.
Just buy some you tart, and send me some pictures of your new motor; also while your about are you going to try and make it to the Donnington meet on the 9th October?
Cheers fella.
How much better would something like Silkolene Pro be over Elf Excellium?
Can't think that they'd be too much difference. Anybody tried these Denso plugs?
