There are much better options than the JCW mate, the JCW head is limited to its flow rate, a thumper stage 3 will be better for the power I want
JCW's also run 380cc injectors, its best to run 550cc's with these cars, for the money you spend on the JCW bits and pieces its best just doing it...
I've also been buying some new wheels, some may like, some may hate (Chrisopher...fakes??? :P), they wont be staying this colour although they aint bad for now
The failure of wheelgap
Thought I'd post a couple of pics of some wet sanding I did on the mini at the weekend
I've had some pretty bad RDS on the mini for some time, I had a go at correcting the roof previously but only managing 80% correction
This time It had to be better, after the unsatisfaction from last times...
I highly doubt you'll get anyone to buy it for £2.5k, its a pretty expensive sticker book IMO
If I was you take off the mods, wheels, suspension, exhaust, rear lights, cage....Stickers!!! and sell it as a normal car
Will be much more appealing to first car buyers aswell, also No disrespect...
you really need to start off with a Dual action and once your confidence has built up switch over to the rotary
Its not worth damaging your paint otherwise, unless you're already experienced ofcourse.
I first started with the 3m 3 stage paint correction technique, using green top polish...
Depends how much you're putting on for materials really, is it a propper 3 stage correction or a quick once over to enhance the gloss?
If you're doing a full deep cut and correction then you're pulling your own pants down for that price
That exhaust isnt the irmscher one, looks wonky and crap, be nice with a standard one on and fuel cap
Maybe lower it, paint the wheels anthracite, de badge it a bit and irmscher front grill, maybe a cheeky gsi rear spoiler on aswell if thats your style
Give the lad a break, its the same old crap on here, get over whatever has happened in the past, people grow older and wiser, he has done,
ts not declared with the dvla but I suggest you do seeing as you've done the right thing and insured it properly, Im not sure on what grounds the tax...
Im charging a mate £30-40 for wash, clay, stage 2 and 3 paint correction, coat of poorboys nattys blue wax, wheels sealed, exhausts polished, glass polished, tyres dressed etc
But that is mates rates ;)
spacers look silly in my opinion, if you really feel the need to run spacers dont go anywhere bigger than 10mm, keep it subtle because that looks silly
Looks pretty decent that mate, I loved the o.z's on it though, they handle so much better with wider wheels
I will post my last s1 rallye up later, possibly one if not the cleanest I've come across, had a very neatly installed 16v aswell ;-)
Pmsl love that cheeky little video Mate didn't realise that was you, are you over on mini torque?
KeV: the replacement still got a Honda badge on it? Should be aweseome if you do ;-)
Lmfao yes thats right lee,
kev I do remember my change into 5th gear and giving you a cheeky wave as the mini pulled a car length from the bean mwahaha, which even suprised me
Thanks Addz, its booked in at a local exhaust firm (AAS) to have a custom cat back fitted, will be getting the...
After the clio lost compression on the bottom end I decided I'd had enough of older cars that just seem to enjoy breaking and got myself a Mini Cooper S
Heres a few pics of the old car for those who remember me:
Always fancied one, knew it wouldnt be the fastest thing in the world as...
Re: My new saxo vtr
I preffered my group N Billsteins over the b8's, b8's were a bit too soft for me :(
Get yourself a full Safety Devices cage in there, the difference it makes to the chassis is awesome, my 16v s2 rallye was probably the best handling car ive driven, even in the wet you...
love it :rasp: you're so right, hutchie sort it out mate!
Clio142, yours looks about the same height mine did, take the splitter off though it spoils it as its really low anyway, sell it to some chav with a corsa for £20
