I'm going up this evening at 7.30ish, it's quite fun in the dark so if you want to have a ride up with me I will be taking it steady
Pm me for my mob number and I can meet you somewhere
Easy enough to do, I'm sure someone local will run over it with the rotary, will take no more than 30-45 minutes to get it back to red, obviously a little longer if you want it to be perfect
Even though they're lenso's they still look decent mate, are you running shims at the rear to get the slight camber or are you running positive at the front to give a similar effect?
Maybe lose the played out stickers on the rear glass and come up with something fresh for next season
Ph2 mate, ph1 is blue
And it's all in the pipeline but people want silly money for doorcards alone
Thanks for all of the comments guys, a big thanks too austin-182 again, fantastic job
As for the keyring, get onto cliotrophy.co.uk, I think there is a batch soon to be made
I've had the raceglaze alcantara cleaner lying around ever since I sold my ph1 172. I thought I would give the recaro's a clean up as they've now had 70k miles worth of use.
There was a fair ammount of dirt removed which I dont have a picture of but here they are all clean:
I've also...
This is very strange as I was just thinking maybe I will fit a whiteline rear ARB to see if the back end settles down so I dont need to go down the coilover route. I'm extremely interested to see your thoughts on the rear ARB addition to the already good trophy chassis
Great to see another...
That's the worst excuse ever :P my ph1 was lower and I never had any issue's with the sump and I used to give it some abuse.....
Looked well the other night mate but I still think the wheels could do with a 10mm reduction in spacers
loved my mine cooper s, I wouldnt fork out the extra cash for a JCW or a GP, just get a bog standard cooper s and do it your own way, £3-3.5k can see you to the good side of 260bhp and standard internals are forged anyway. The getrag gearbox in mine never let me down either.
Very nice work...
I never saw any ph1s on Wednesday but I was down in the trophy, won't be there this Wednesday as it's my birthday
All cars look great, is yours the black one or sunflower?
A friend had a vxr and we used to have spirited drives on a weekend. Baring in mind I had a 172 with de-cat only it was evens on the straights but you could see even on roundabouts the corsa's tendancy to understeer where the 172 would just point and go
After fitting a btb exhaust on the 172...
storm grey is by far the best colour, I'm guessing you couldnt get the recaro's due to child seat etc?
Dont care for the colour of wheels on the valver, really dont suit it but each to their own
And the rat van is awesome
Re: My Pink One..
Dont see the point in putting nice rear seats and doorcards in essentially a track car? They'd be much better off in my trophy as a daily :P
In all seriousness I'd be stripping that trophy down to the eyeballs, fitting a whiteline ARB and seeing how it goes.
I find the...
