For those that don't know about Hartside, it's a fun drive up some awesome challenging b roads, from Durham it takes around 45 minutes to get there.
It's not going to be a race just a nice drive out and a good excuse to have a meet. The last hartside trip I memory of will had a great turnout...
Anybody want to have a drive up to hartside? It will be good to have a blast up there before the bad weather really sets in
Let me know if you're interested and we will arrange a meeting point etc

I would definately spend the money from coilovers on track days, then you can see where the car needs upgrading for track work as apposed to presuming it will need coilovers straight away
Good work though and I hope you enjoy it out on track, get a cage though that is a must
That's what I'm hoping to find out fred, I know jms have it for the 172/182 but only the 172 has been released on the fastchip website,
I'm just after a yes or no answer really, if it is coming so the public can access it, when will it be, not really too much to ask really
I cant see any...
Well I posted up a new thread about the over run map on the fastchip section of CS but it's been deleted, so the last thread was locked and now mine is deleted....
Anybody any idea's whats going on as it looks as if it's just getting swept under the rug with no answers as to when it will be...
I think I will make an appearence on a sunday night now then if steve is bringing this monster out, I just want to see the possibilities with the f4r lump :)
Loving the storm grey, I mean primer mate :)
Shame you're going to waste money on painting it if its just a track hack, it will only get stone chipped and possibly scratched if you have any excursions (sp)
A good set of h+r's or kw's on there mate and lower it around 40mm and it will be perfect
Looks very clean, let me know when you want to borrow the rotary ;-) even better you can come down and do it down here if you want
You going to get AAS to knock you up a 2.75 exhaust andy?
I presume that is going to be the best size for the sort of power you're putting out, although you may want to go 3" if there are future projects in the pipeline that may mean it has more horse power ;)
A friend has been experimenting between titanium and glasur, I'm sure the glasur isnt as durable as the titanium, or so it seems.
The creme was still beading/sheeting nicely 3 weeks after it was done, however you could tell it had lost some of its durability
Well thanks for stating the obvious danny, I mean figures wise and drivability, is there really that much more to be gained by a live map than a generic?
Ofcourse a live is always going to be better but by what sort of margin
I've got to say after having track tuition at combe its no surprise people are going off there, driving as they would down their local B road but that corner carry's a lot of speed, especially if you dont get the right braking points, the cossie hurt, the evo hurt even more
And how lucky was...
Instead of starting another thread I thought I'd show you the latest addition to the trophy, renault sport mats courtesy of the above wests renault
I gave the car a hoover but these shots are pre trim plastics being cleaned
