So do you have two exhausts, the ones first pictured and the one above?
Also I may be interested in taking your existing filter off your hands if you're wanting to go open cone for the 'noise'
The cooler weather should help with BHP readouts aswell
My ph1 172 ran 160bhp last year with an ITG panel and k-tec de-cat on a standard system, my bad though, I made a very huge mistake:
I sat the car outside the workshop running for around 20-25 minutes, I was paranoid about the cold start...
:o
Car looks good apart from that black vinyl where the plate recess is, looks like the new clio 200 and that isnt a good thing, looks out of place and I really dont like it
Everything else looks cool though I like it, also get a btb 'Stealth' if you actually dont want to see it, quality...
Add coilovers, winde them down and you will instantly have one of the best ph1's on here, add a ph2 rear bumper, side strips and cup spoiler for extra win :)
I'd definately have the dci over a 1.2 16v
Cheap to insure, tax and run, dont often hear of them breaking down either and it will hold its value when you come to sell, due to there not being many around
Unless you've experienced the k-tec first hand I wouldnt comment
The k-tec did everything it said it would, created a noticable difference, didnt make the BTB raspy at all, a very nice tone for day to day use, definately go de-cat, no chance would I be paying BTB prices for there hybrid sports cat
After recently doing a test on my brothers old type-R, there was a noticable 7-8 bhp difference over an ITG maxogen
This is why I ask, obviously I know the ph1 airbox is good, with its twin air feeds and enclosed cylinder form, but as is known with most other maxogen applications, they do tend...
Those tuned defenders are quite quick though and they have massive ammounts of torque
15.2 aint bad for the conditions mate, maybe next time be a touch more aggressive and you'll be in the 14's
If you havent already it may be worthwhile you getting launch control, you can get this when...
After having a ph1 172 I knew the car should pull smoothly through the rev range, with the obvious extra pull at 5k RPM
The belt had just been done before I got the car and when accelerating between 3k-5k RPM there was a distinct lack of power and a massive jump when it got to 5k RPM not...
Gave the trophy a wax during the week and a wash at the weekend
Theres also some other work been done to the trophy, I had a feeling the timing was out so I had my mate from renault come over and get it sorted out, I took the oportunity to gave the sachs a clean and the insides of...
Try doing on average £550-600 worth of vpower every 33 days like I did in my mini cooper s, thankfully the 182 has saved me, think thats because I can just set the cruise control at 60 and plod on :D
If it was it would be getting a de-cat ;-)
We're thinking possible lambda fault
Also I'm running on 95 octane fuel will this make a significant difference to power delivery?
I'm just texting my mate now and he said that he also used the tool to lock the pulleys and crank, he's going to have a look at it this week and plug the computer in to make sure the ecu is reading everything it should
Its still pulling hard dont get me wrong, just random how it feels like it wants you to grab the next gear then all of a sudden a random burst of power for 400rpm,
I was there when the timing was done, my mate even showed me before and after of the timing marks, how they didnt line up and...
