Fred or Icarus (Matt) might be able to help you out mate. They are very knowledgable on these things> If not, give RSport a ring and they will stock them.
It's frightening how much work needs to be done for tyre changes. Everyone just assumes it's a case of replace, and they will work. Sounds like the dunlops have a bit more bite to them on the original setup you had. Hope you manage to find a nice balance if you're looking at staying with them.
yeah Mark, 15's will be lighter and imo the car handles better on them on track. You have to use Dunlops? That's a random reg, but they probably sponsor it and make that a requirement I guess. These are just as good as r888's. Not sure what their longevity is like though. I'm sure they would...
Re: Update
Jesus! I'm assuming you mean depending on when you pay, it will make a difference cost wise, and it's not all those figures added up :S? Can you win money at the end of it?
Nice to see you're making progress mate.
2) I wouldn't go messing with the roof. Slightest crash in...
it's really simple mate. Just remove the front arch liners and you'll be able to get to them. Wheels off obviously. They will be a little tight, but come out simple enough. you'll need to remove the fogs first obviously. Or bumper off if you like it the really simple way.
I suppose you can in a racing situation at the chicane after Shell, but you loose too much speed going in for me. Problem is you've not got much power out to push you up the hill. That part of oulton is both enjoyable and annoying within such a short space. :( Aside from that 3rd and 4th are...
Oulton is a 3/4th track anyway, but better ratio would make a difference exiting the chicanes/slow corners. Final drive like Jay said is best bet, making the top end slower, but speeding up acceleration through the gears. nothing is cheap when it comes to Clio boxes unfortunately.
It's behind the sound deadening on the bulk head. Not sure on yours, but on sport you need to remove ps reservoir, coolant reservoir , and move the sound deadening. You be able to feel it, but not see it easily. Oh and poking something through it is a pain. Good luck ;)
if you'd drove home in your 1.4 cliosport ;) with the timing belt like that, it wouldn't have got home. lol. It might just be coincidental that it came off. Cold weather recently has a habit of messing with belts. They shouldn't have gone anywhere near that on MOT unless they are a dodgy garage...
if you completely bare the shell, get it dipped, and then resprayed, you'll be looking at 3k i'd imagine, but the finish will be wicked. Leaving all the bits in won't give you a great finish. Personally i'm picky, so i'd want everything to match.
list above is fine mate yeah. if you're messing with the lines then it might be worth having something to catch the fluid. DONT GET IT ON THE PAINT WORK :)
