RS stamped ones are suppoed to be better forged than the original none stamped ones, so gains afterward on an RS one will be less. I was going to say less noticable, but you'll not feel any difference really.
I recognise that photo ;) When did they rip that off the forum? Yeah runs great with the wider CAT exit. Joe at BTB recommends it over a Decat. Might make it a bit more boomy, but not much if you're already running a 2.5" centre section anyway.
Didn't realise it was a 7hour job to do the clutch :S Didn't think there was that much to it, drop frame, remove box? I'm sure it's not that simple, but you know what I mean ;) I'll be more careful with mine from now on.
Put some thermal on mate ;) Is your name related to Marten (Godspeed) or is it purely coincidental that you've both got racers? How much it set you back for the car if you don't mind me asking ;) Presumably they didn't make the cup racer in LHD?
Gutted mate. I wish people would go down gears in this weather instead of braking. No need for abs then. Gentle is the key. At least she's ok though pal. Seen a few bad ones near me :S
i've heard different though mate. I know a few people who have fitted them, with no speedo working. When you go into the computers on CLIP it gives you the option to change the speedo source from ABS to GB Sensor.
Fare enough he was an RTE, but it depends how much he has come into contact with these cars. It might just be forum chat, but there have been belts done wrong by renault themselves :S
Where is the second locking tool on the pully side :S Hope this hasn't been fubard mate
So easy mate. There is a small 8 or 10mm bolt on the back of the exhaust piece that goes through the mount. Remove that, then just remove the 3 bolts that hold the mount to the chassis. 5 min job.
