the point is pulling up next to valvers and 172s & wasting them. Then the owner having spent all his money on 17s and sub woofers realises his car isnt quick and has been blown off a sh1tty brown standard lookin clio. Its good fun - try it
ive seen badly driven 172s go through at 19sec - its really down to driver tecnique - ive seen a standard one go through at 14.6 but the driver ( know who u are ) was lucky and i think the clock tower made a mistake ;)
The motor and combined regulator is knackered - you will need to replace it - 7700802027 £159.86 + vat from renault or £40 used ( breakers ) you cant buy the motor seperate - it comes as a complete unit
if the car has had a minor bump the problem will actually be the seatbelt pretensioner itself. It will have fired off in a bump causing the airbag warning light to come on - the car will need a new pre-tensioner and a new airbag computer, as once these have fired off you cannot replace them.
A new key for a 1.5 dci clio is part number 8200067907 £21.69 and Renault dealers KEEP THEM IN STOCK :o. So there takin the pi55. The key simply needs to be programmed in and takes 5 minutes. You will also need a blade - part number 7701387010 £12.32 which takes 24 hrs to order from Key Services.
Believe it or not a Service exchange gearbox for a williams ( they send you a new one providing they have yours in return ) is £599.00 7701352174 - the franchises pay £419.30 for them so make sure you ask for Trade discount ( tell em you have a garage )
