Well I have recently starting playing games and watching films on my 32" LCD via my PC (DVI-D to HDMI Connection). The quality is awesome and its just great on a larger screen. It also helps having a decent GPU aswell.

Sorted it. It was a setting on the actual AV receiver lol. Ahh well.:o:o 5.1 aswell for movies :).

Also aswell I can get sound when I do a sound test (5.1 test aswell) via properties in the device playback option.

Sound card as above mate lol (on board) Well my connection is via an Optical cable (Toslink) so I should be able to recieve true 5.1

Also the sound is running off my Gigabyte GA-965P DS4 board.

I recently connected my PC to my new Cinema setup via a SPDIF connection (optical) to get like 5.1 for fils and that. Now as per the screen shot the device is working but I cannot get any sound through whether its via Media Player or games. The closet I have got is when in VLC player I am able...

well I was going to suggest using a TV card and connect the sky box to it. I watch footie online via www.sopcast.org
