    Shopping Basket at Halfords

As above, Megs Gold Class is a good shampoo and the AG SRP and EGP are a good polish and wax. The clay is optional really, depending how rough your paintwork feels, and you'll also need a microfibre waffleweave drying towel (or whatever variant AG / Meguiars make), as these are better than a...

    Detailing Kit

As said above, Megs Gold Class and the Scratch X are worthy items, but I'd find a different sealant and wax. I'm probably moving towards 1Z Glanz and P21 / Pinnacle Souveran...

    Ph2 lights on Ph-Quick

AFAIK you need the bulb holders that go with the Ph2 lenses mate, and then you rewire these... If the member claims you can butcher the Ph1 holders to work on Ph2 lenses then I'd recommend he gives you instructions. But then that's always risky in case you ever want to swap back again.

    172cup vs V6

Lol, Cosworth's are awesome, but the same money for a car much older and with a much worse reputation for being driven by Essex boys, and the desirability does tail off a bit. I'd still love one though...

    172cup vs V6

As muck... :S Nah, I actually prefer the look of the Mk2 V6, but I fell in love with the Mk1, so that's the one that I 'will' own...

    Valver Engine Bay

I would imagine a light amount of water, maybe just a wet sponge/cloth and then apply the AG, then wipe off with another dry cloth. EDIT (From Detailing World): Spray on, agitate a little with a bruse and then hose off with a gentle spray of water, and then dryp up the standing water... Then...

    Valver Engine Bay

Autoglym machine and engine cleaner or something, haven't used it myself but I believe it's a good degreaser so cleans all the parts up well.

brake dust.... help me before i lob a wheel through my front window....

I've got dust baked on mine that even wonder wheels doesn't touch, but then I wouldn't use wonder wheels unless you are happy with the prospect of getting them refurbed eventually because it's vicious stuff. Fred, I'll be up with my wheels soon!

    172 vs Type R Video

Lol, after 34 seconds, as the cars take the tight left, you can see Henry VIII chopping off one of his wife's heads in the crowd... it's THAT old. ;)

UPS lost 3 of my alloy wheels!!

Surely as far as UPS are concerned, a package has been signed for and they have no record of the size of it? If they're admitting that it's been lost then how do they know this!?!

Also Eibach's are good. The Pro's for ride, Sport's for height.

    best shampoo for the car

Used AG today and was actually more impressed. Foamed up enough without being over the top, and barely had to rinse at the end at all. I waxed the car recently, so it may just be because of that that the water sheeted off so easily.

    samsung lcd tv

The thing with the pixels is that they can sometimes go 'dead' or 'lit'. Lit pixels can be refreshed using certain software, but dead pixels are just that, dead. Most manufacturers require a certain amount of dead pixels before they will accept the set as faulty, depending where the pixels are...

Black RS (I think) and Silver 172 in Exeter area...

Spotted two on the Exeter to Dawlish road yesterday, a lowered black one near Dawlish giving it some, and a slower silver 172 nearer Exeter. Anyone?

If you're struggling to get the P21 off, spray a light mist of QD over it, wipes straight off.

    Pic's & Video's of my V6 (56k GTFO)

Very nice mate. As cool as the TB'd 172 was, the V6 is in a whole different league for 'impact'

    5 Hours of cleaning and....

Very clean mate, a good clean is always worth it! Tbh I normally finish a big clean and think "pah, that wasn't worth it", but did one today and I'm chuffed to bits with the results.... which in turn makes me want to do it all over again! Why do you use different waxes for the top and...

I'm pretty sure he made it from scratch, when he first advertised them for sale before his supplier fell through he was talking about it.

    Today's efforts

Lol, Detailing Russian Roulette... I thought the heavens were going to open just as I was finishing off applying the NXT, but it stayed away luckily. Don't really mind if it rains now tbh, I'm going to go on a photoshoot hunt on Tuesday so it'll need a QD then anyway.

    Today's efforts

Nah, the 'almost' rain weather is the best! I always feel that sun makes the efforts a but nullified, as it'll already be gleaming a bit before you start. Cloudy weather really highlights the dirt and rain spots, and then really shows up the reflection afterwards. :)

Fubar made it, but it's not a font as such as lots of shapes and curves and vectors and some other rubbish that makes up the letters... Ask Fubar, he'll bore you with the details! ;)
