why does my car always have s**t on it?

Yep, claying it won't protect against future spots, etc but it'll get rid of your current collection. Give it a nice wash, clay, polish and then a few layers of a decent sealant and wax and it'll be easier to maintain every so often.

South West Airfield Pics - August 06

That would have been cool, especially considering how close it was and the faces he was pulling! A true Kodak moment.

Ah, course mate, I should know you were running, I was sat beside you! I wonder how many people have a shot of Cliohead pulling a face or a silly run!?!

    FORD 14" alloys with tyres

My old wheels are getting rid off as I've lost the space to store all my junk, on ebay with no reserve. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300022205291&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=020

Fifth Gear - Williams 001 Vs. Clio 197

I cannot stand the fact that every f*cking 'vs' thread, or even anything remotely resembling a 'vs' thread gets turned into a "mine's better than your's" conversation, often with various argumentative people completely missing the point. Jesus, I wonder if I said "I saw a nice Civic by the...

    Justifying clio-ness...

Lol, exactly. If you sound like a true enthusiast then you come across geeky (maybe we are!?!), if you say that you blasted down b-roads, shaking off supposedly 'better' cars then you sound like a chav. It won't stop me doing what I enjoy, but was just the theme of the conversation we had at...

Out of the ones not in the album Chris, did you get any of the drags at the end of the day?

    Justifying clio-ness...

Raised from a recent conversation with Neil (Freebone) and Cliohead's missus at the Airfield Meet yesterday: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=163868 We discussed the issue of how you raise the fact that you're into Clio's, and go to meets / trackdays on a regular basis, without...

Fifth Gear - Williams 001 Vs. Clio 197

I imagine it'll be a story of the 197 being quicker, but not as fun.

Fifth Gear - Williams 001 Vs. Clio 197

Will be interesting viewing, they'll be proving a point of either how far, or little, hatches have come... performance-wise anyway.

    A small polish

Now get it up to Rich's or Brazo's for a PC, it'll be a serious transformation on that blue.

    Mk1 172 to a Williams?

Lol, if I did it wouldn't be so much for performance reasons, as just a change of scenary but equally fun. Day, how would it not free up any cash? I'd imagine you can get a fairly decent condition Willy for £2.5/3k now and the 172's will fetch £4.5/5k?

super clay...is it actually that good??

If you use QD then you shouldn't need to rinse again, but a lot of people just wash, and then use fresh shampoo/water as the lube for the clay, which dry streaky and therefore need rinsing off. Either way's fine though. As for 'Super Clay' or whatever, you want to make sure you don't get one...

    Mk1 172 to a Williams?

Building on my previous thoughts of changing, and witnessing a few Williams at recent trackdays / meets, I'm wondering whether this would be viable.... seeing as they really seem to go some, handle like go-karts and have 'the look'. I know it's a much-discussed topic, but what do people think...

That'll be right Neil, the more layers of EGP you can fit in before the Natty's the better, leaving for a good hour or so between as well if possible.

what you think to me site ...in development

Looks alright so far, I'd be tempted to blend the logo into the background a bit though, it looks like a stuck on image at the moment and not part of the page. Nice, simple, light layout though so a good start.
