removing swirls / scratches by hand is achievable but very hard work and time consuming. pad and compound will vary dependant on the condition of the paint. And this will all be a bit of a waste of time if your methods for washing and maintaining are not great as this will incur further swirls...

Probably best to strip it back and start afresh by claying, de tarring etc and get another 6 months

looks nice, i'd leave the tips as they are unless they expand out when hot too much. But not sure of the sound on a standard abarth. Maybe if it were stripped rally / touring / street monster that had the power to back up the noise.

I would consider the sonus (white not green) and megs clays fairly similar from previous experiences, I quite like it for a halfords product.

what brand of pad are they? as for the menz compounds, as the name suggests the power finish has a heavier cut, where as the final finish has less to get that final glossy finish

C1? I'm using GTechniq G3 and it's performing well on a couple of cars I've done with it.

it's supposed to be a fine / soft clay AFAIK. I know the different grades of softness. I personally prefer the feel of the megs clay an will prob go back to it next time.

is the much difference in the various grades of clay? I'm currently using a poly clay from CYC and don't really like it much, feels very plasticy
