Exactly. I don't want, in 2015, with a modern smartphone with a full HTML browser, to be using an internet that looks like it was straight outta 1995. Missing content is a constant nightmare too, and links not working properly on the mobile versions of sites.

What micro HDMI port? That's a mini USB. The lack of external mic support is unfortunate but not many people ask for it.

It's a necessary evil though really, better to have all the best cars grouped together than trying to pick them out of the mediochre. I remember going around the paddocks of various hillclimbs looking out for the best cars for the demo runs at Pentillie.

Not really. You could always record using an external device (I use my phone with the headphone mic) and mix the audio in after. @H.Maxim mine's mounted using the suction cup at the moment.

Nah. I like driving with it. The plastic lenses are fuckered on my set, can't correct them as half of it's on the inside, so the only solution is a new set :)
